Instructions

Read the following text, which will be shown to you one sentence at a time. Different speakers are indicated by different colors. Your task is to break up the text into "paragraphs" as you go based only on what you have read so far. Think of each paragraph as a group of one or more sentences that serve a joint purpose. It is possible that more than one speaker contributes to one paragraph.

  • – If a sentence simply continues the current paragraph, press Space to show the next sentence.
  • – If a sentence marks the beginning of a new paragraph, press Enter, or if you're particularly sure, Ctrl + Enter.
  • – If you change your mind after reading on, you can go back up to three sentences with Ctrl+Z.

Complete the tutorial to practice these controls before you start.

When you're done with one text, you can either continue and annotate another, or stop and complete a survey that asks a few basic questions about you and your experience with the experiment. All information is handled anonymously. By continuing, you agree that your data may be used for research purposes.
